I'm sorry, but the safest place for a book is on the shelf where it belongs. Many different people work here, and if we put one book in a special area for pick up, the chances that everyone will know where it is become very slim. Also--undoubtedly not the case with you--in the past when we have pulled books for people, the books were often never collected making them unavailable to people who are looking for them on the shelf. So, we no longer do that. Honest, it's safer this way.
