The Opposing Viewpoints database has good pros & cons. You can start there to find the issues. Click on the left sidebar "Academic Journals" to get the peer reviewed article. Then go to the ERIC database and search "Common Core Standards." Be sure to put the term in quotation marks. Select "peer reviewed" and "full-text" to make your life a little easier.
