For a research topic like this, you may find The Web of Science database helpful to get you to several good articles.

You can access this database (and many others) by going to the library's main page: https://library.plymouth.edu. Click on the library databases tab.

Once there, type in Web of Science into the search bar and click on the link (or you can click on the W section at the top of the page and it should be the first link).

Once you are in the database, type your search terms in the box shown. I started with Ultraviolet Light, and refined my search at the next page. This is what the page will look like when you first arrive:

This database offers many refinements to your search. I typed in Mutation of Bacteria in the search bar on the left. Between the two search terms, I found over 2,000 results. You can limit your search more depending on what kind of article you need. Those options are also along the left side of the screen.

You can try using different search terms to get different results if you don't see anything you like. Once you find an article you like, you can click Full Text. If you have trouble getting access to the full text (some may be unavailable), refine your search to Open Access by checking off the textbox on the left side.

I hope this helps. Feel free to reach out to the Reference Desk if you have any further questions!
