Hi Justin,

There were two things I tried for this topic that worked well for me.  

First  I found a couple good articles in a database called SportDiscus, (if this link doesn't work for you, you can access SportDiscus from the list of databases on the library main page.)  I tried seaching using the words "social media" and "athletes," if you change the drop down menu next to the search boxes to "SU Subjects" you will get fewer but more relevant results.  It looked like this:

Second, I went to Google Scholar and typed "athletes and social media" into the search bar.  There were several promising titles.  Keep in mind when using Google Scholar that if you want to read an article, you'll need to click the link in the right hand column, not the title of the article.  For example:

 Not all articles in Google Scholar have full text links, so if you want one that doesn't have a link, you can ask a librarian or request it through interlibrary loan.
