To search for books within the library, go the the library's main webpage: : https://library.plymouth.edu/

Once you are there, click on Books, and type in your search topic. In this case, I used Gun Control.

There are over 400 books available between physical copies and eBooks. Based on this search, it looks like many of our physical books on gun control are within the call number ranges of REF HV7436 and HV7364-HV8059. The reference section of the Lamson Library is located on the Main Level right next to the reference desk. The regular H section is located on the Lower Level.

If you're looking for pros and cons, you may try using the Opposing Viewpoints database. To access this,

go to the library's main webpage. From there, click on the library databases tab.

Once you are at the databases, search Opposing Viewpoints in the search bar and click on the link below. You can also find it by clicking on the O section at the top of the page and scrolling down until you find it.

When you get to the database, you can search for Gun Control in the search bar. You can also refine your search if you scroll down and type in another search term. This database offers many types of articles and journals, depending on what you are looking for.

Another database you may find helpful is the CQResearcher. Go back to the library's main webpage and go to library databases. On the right side there will be a box that says Tackling a Wicked Problem and Composition Students. The second link listed is CQResearcher - Click the link. You can also find it by searching in the database search box, or clicking on the C section at the top of the page and scrolling through the results.

Once there, you can search for Gun Control using the search bar on the right. You can also refine your search by clicking Advanced Search and changing some of the criteria. You may need to adjust your search terms depending on what you are looking for.
